I think I watched game 1, 2, and 4… In game 2 and game 4, I think Cavs didn’t do their best in terms of time management and strategy. I am not used to seeing a team giving up a game when they are down by ~10 points with more than a minute to play. Game is far from over, isn’t it? I have seen so many games (including regular season games) where a team comes from behind to win or tie in such situations. Especially when you are in the finals, why ever give up?
The crunch time is when coach’s strategy and execution matter most. With a player like LeBron, I think Cav’s coach could have deployed many setup plays such as drive, get fouled, and score / screen help + 3 pt attempt / etc. etc…
During the crucial last minutes of the games, Cav’s players seemed lost and I couldn’t see any determination from LeBron (can’t understand why – ).
Is it just me?
They are inexperienced in high pressure situations. My Spurs were cool and collected.
Crunch time is the players and the Cavs weren’t gonna do it. Lebron is young and he will learn but the fact is they were not the best team. No one in the East was. But the Spurs are the champions. To quote a great fighter, Clubber Lang.to the Spurs. “You’re a paper champion”
The Cavs were actually impressive in the fourth quarters of all the games. They could have done better in the first halves.
yes for sure. i think lebron didn’t step it up and at times looked lost on the floor. i was hoping for a Jordan type performance at the end from Lebron but then again he is a young player who will get another chance at the title.
One less turn over and things could be different.
That Lebron unforced turn over cost em.
