i was in a bad accident 3 years ago and chipped away pieces of my neck in between the c-2 and c-3 column. i have been seeing an orthopedic surgeon since and he was writing me a script for percocet, then last month he decided to change it to vicodin at the same dose. the vicodin does not help at all, its like taking tylenol, and this has affected my job, my sleep, and just my quality of life. i have my first appointment with a pain management doctor tomorrow, do you think he will be able to give me a prescription for the percocet? should i bring in the vicodin to give back to him if he writes me the script? any advice is appreciated.
