Avalon Hill made “Management” in the late 60’s into the 70’s.
Hasbro took the rights to it, after it took over AH and I think still had the rights to the game into the 90s. It is with hundreds of other games Hasbro stopped the production of to control competition in the board game market.
If you didn’t know Hasbro owns Parker Brothers, Milton Bradley, Avalon Hill, Wizards of the Coast and many others, some of which were very hostile take overs.
Why own so many game companies? Could it be to hide that they make the … Pokemon and Magic the Gathering card games? Or because Dungeons & Dragons would hurt Hasbro’s image so leave it under Wizards of the Coast?
As a note: When Habro’s purchase of Avalon Hill became public, they said, don’t worry we will only keep producing Avalon Hill’s quality “family” games, not those others they make (like the fantasy, sci-fi and detective role playing games or the war strategey games….of which they have been slowly redesigning and releasing completely different games under the guise of old good seller’s title)
So when you search look for Management Avalon Hill.
I have seen good condition ones come through EBay.
But don’t hesitate to E-Mail All of the above, Hasbro owned, companies and ask which one retains the rights to it’s re-release and will it happen.
