I am a person who is well known of keeping a low profile in my work although that I am doing al my work in a good quality. How can I let my manager and the senior management to know me and my work or achievements. How can I appear inside the organization???
You can email periodic status reports to your manager. Chances are the managers do know how you’re doing. If your work wasn’t good, they’d be hearing complaints. But a weekly or monthly status memo telling them what you’ve accomplished and what you’re working on at the moment can’t hurt. Keep it clear and brief. Provide quantitative info where you can. (I have completed x amounts of this task. Or, I have achieved x% on this goal.)
If you want to advise them of a specific achievement, you can send an email just about that. For example, you might forward customer compliments about your work or notify the manager that something has been accomplished by you or by your team. You might send something like this to your entire team and cc the manager, so it looks like you’re keeping everyone up to date rather than blowing your own horn/looking for recognition. But they will still know you did it and give you credit for it.
