		<description>Well it will be useful to your career in general, whatever path you take, but I don&#039;t think it will particularly further your goal of becoming an architect directly, since the PMP certification is focused on project management. There are probably more appropriate courses/certifications to help you break into that field.  However, being an architect who is also a PMP will be a great combination.</description>

		<description>Absolutely!  I am always searching for PMP&#039;s, not just people trained in Project Management.  A PMP certification can add 30-40K to your salary a year because you have knowledge of the &quot;discipline&quot;.  If you have the opportunity to get it, or the motivation to follow through, by all means.  You will make yourself extremely valuable and marketable anywhere.  The door will always be open to you!</description>
