According to what I’ve seen on apartmentratings.com, it seems that expensive apartments have more problems with bad management, noisy tenants, crime, and poor build quality. Why is that so? Wouldn’t you think if you paid more a month for an apartment you would get nicer management, friendlier and quieter tenants, less crime and better build quality?
I live in a cheaper apartment complex and the management is great and the tenants are really nice and friendly.
I don’t know where you live, but, you are incredibly lucky. I don’t know why people in your area would be willing to pay more for less, but, don’t ever move.
I can’t say I agree. I’ve lived in 2 cheapo dumps, and the management SUCKED and we had endless problems. I live in a modestly priced townhouse now, and we’ve had minimal problems and the landlord is great. We’re soon moving to a more expensive place, and the landlord is great and there’s virtually no crime. (My bf lived there before). I think it all depends on where you live. Granted, there are some BEAUTIFUL brand new apartment complexes in my town that are ghetto trash infested because the landlords accept Section 8. Those are rare though.
