Orlando might have been a fluke. Or perhaps the Eastern Conf. really is ”that bad”. Mu-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-hahaha! As predicted, the Lakers opened up a can of you-know-what on the Magic in game 2. That fat lady has already finished fartin’ her tune and now the championship hats and tshirts are being embroidered in L.A.’s colors when they take the big victory, GUARANTEED.
Oh, don’t forget, the mandatory Stern imposed ‘Magic win’ will occur in Orlando at an undisclosed time. (*either game 3 or 4 or both) This ‘win’ will be a mercy win that the Lakers’ management has agreed to give Orlando for the sake of television ratings. This IS a business afterall.
After that, the Lakers will get to have their victory, choreographed perfectly for a poignant kiss and cry moment back in L.A.. Heck even Phil will be weeping after he beats Red’s record. LOL
What I saw was a tightly contested game 2 in LA… With the series shifting to Orlando the Lakers should second-guess.
Hope this helps.
If anything the Magic were Under-rated, they were not expected to get by Boston, or Cleveland, but are in the Finals, they have a Good team, that generally lives or dies by the 3. Like you i expect this to go 6 games and Finsish with a Lakers Victory at Home. But give them Credit, they almost had Game 2.
Magic are a great team. Theyre just not playing to great these past two games. I think they stepped it up in game 2, but overall i think BOTH teams played horrible. I mean 15 points scored in the first quarter? c’mon these two teams are suppose to be high scorers. I’m glad Lakers won, but im still disappointed with them. I didn’t see the same intensity in Kobe that i saw in him in game 1. Hopefully he brings that back, because without Odom stepping it up today we would’ve lost.
Orlando has a great team and isn’t overrated(as a team). Dwight Howard to me is a good player but people make him look GREATER than he is. Once he develops a go-to post move than he will become great. He’s got all the size and strength but anyone can throw up a hook shot. The Lakers have played great D on him(especially Pau) and have made him a passer the whole time.
No, they aren’t overrated. In fact, I think they are underrated. Sure, they are getting beaten by L.A. in the Finals, but that is because L.A. is possibly the only NBA team with more talent than the Magic. The only over rated (heavily overrated) were the Cavs.
No because they don’t show off or any thing that i no
an like those stupid Cavs with thier LeBron James and fake cams being run by james while the cavs do push ups and all go 2 mars build a $2 home out of wood and tape rent $3 DVD’s
orlando’s the underdog. they have major talent but they’re just unlucky in the first 2 games. probably because of the pressure in LA by the stupid fans
yes they are over rated because they only beat the cavaliers by making the majority of three pointers they went for
They under-rated, they did beat defending champions and top team of the East this season. The Lakers still the best in the league
The Magic would have won that game if it weren’t for a botched layup.
I’m a Laker’s fan, but I would love to see Howard surpass SHAQ and LeBron.
so NBA is like WWE??
right
I think the Magic is not over rated.. this is just my perception ok.. Cavs own the best record in the NBA and the Magic demolished them, Boston one of the toughest team in the league and still they made them look like the are not the defending champs..
The fact here is Los Angeles Lakers are the best team in the NBA not only in the West but in the NBA..
and for the Media who tells that Lakers have more all-star than the Cavs? are you sure with that?
Lakers- Pau Gasol and KB24 that’s there only all-star= 2 all-stars
Cavs- LBJ23, Mo Williams, Big Ben and Big Z and before I forgot Wally Szczerbiak are also all stars b4..= 5 all-stars..
Satisfied Cavs Fans?
Yes the cavs are sooo overrated. They had the best record in the NBA, the MVP, a great coach and they are just so overrated. They swept the first two round of the playoffs. Man that team sucks. They have fun before the game and like to hang out with each other because they realize it’s more than just a game, they are a family. What a bunch of losers. I would hate to be on that team because I would have no fun. Are you serious? How old are some of you people? Like 14 or 15. You kidding me? Why don’t you watch some basketball for a little bit before you come on here. Some of you are just morons
Orlando is one of the most hyped teams this year! The whole team’s roster is full of over-rated players:
Dwight Howard – Gimme a break on this fellow. All muscle no game! He is only good for defensive purposes. His offense is dunking the ball. He cannot create for himself. No post moves that you can even consider consistent. Don’t even let us bring up his FT shooting.
Jameer Nelson – This guy an All-Star?? Are you kidding me?? It’ s Jameer Nelson!!
Rashard Lewis – Prime example of what the organization has always done… over-pay for mediocre talent. First T-MAC now Rashard. The guy shoots 3’s. Am i missing any other skills he brings to the table?
As much as I hate the Lakers, I know that this series will end easy and painlessly. As stated in the question above somehow there Orlando will win one game with some kind of divine intervention aka David Stern. And then you will see the Lakers hoist the trophy. It will be like taking candy from a baby.
