I’d like to have a correct translation of the term “Quality management systems”. Is the word “quality” here an adjective (and means qualitative)?
Or is it a noun?
If the quality here is noun, does that mean (I don’t need professional explanation, just translation), that we should manage a quality, or that means that we have to have some kind of qualitative systems of management.
it is an adjectival used in the construction of a so-called noun of construction.
It is an adjective describing the type of management of the system. The root word in the noun is system. Quality modifies management which modifies system.
Though my interpretation of the adjectival differs from yours, I do not disagree with you in your interpretation of the adjective.
If the entirety of the phrase is quality management system, then it is not a noun, rather an adjective.
